ABOUT US
Established in 2024, the Macao Technology and Cultural Exchange Association (MTCEA) is a non-profit organization officially registered with the Identification Services Bureau of Macao and holds full legal status. The association was jointly initiated by technology experts, cultural scholars, and interdisciplinary innovation practitioners from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is dedicated to building an international platform for the deep integration of science, technology, and culture.
Rooted in Macao’s unique position as a crossroads of Eastern and Western cultures, MTCEA operates under the guiding principle of “Empowering Cultural Heritage through Technology, Driving Industrial Upgrading through Innovation.” The association adheres to the mission of “enhancing academic exchange, promoting industrial development, fostering internal and external collaboration, and strengthening social services,” aiming to advance the coordinated development of the regional science and technology culture ecosystem.
Targeting young professionals and academic scholars, MTCEA cultivates future leaders with both technological competence and a humanistic perspective through international conferences, industry-academia-research collaboration projects, and innovation and entrepreneurship competitions.

Scope of Services
· Carry out industry technical cooperation, carry out domestic and foreign academic activities, academic forums and conferences, activate academic ideas, promote discipline and economic development, and promote scientific and technological cooperation.
· We should carry out technical consultation and training services, popularize basic knowledge of science and technology and culture, popularize advanced technology, and promote the application of advanced productive forces in various fields.

The 2024 Academic Conference on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence was sucessfully held from October 18 to 20, 2024, in Nansha, Guangzhou.

It has the right to vote and to be elected as a member of the Board of Directors.
Senior Member of MTCEA (SMMTCEA) MOP 300/year
Bachelor’s degree or above in information technology related field with at least two years of working experience in information technology; A bachelor’s degree or above with at least six years of working experience in information technology; At least 15 years of working experience in information technology management; Continue to work in the IT industry for six years or more after becoming an Associate Member. It has the right to vote and to be elected as a member of the Board of Directors.
